To ensure the continued supply of high-quality drinking water, City crews are in North Port Alberni flushing water mains. This annual maintenance work may result in discolored water coming from your taps. Any discoloration is temporary and the water is safe to drink. If discolouration is noticed, residents can open their cold water taps and allow the water to flow until the lines clear.

The City of Port Alberni expects this work to take approximately six to eight weeks to complete. For more information, please contact City Works Department at 250-720-2840.
