Margaret Street Watermain Replacement

Starting today, May 29, 2017, City of Port Alberni construction crews will begin replacing the water main on Margaret Street between Richardson and Glenside.  Local traffic will have access throughout construction, anticipated to last 5 days. 

While construction is going on, traffic disruptions can be expected. Vehicle access to the parking lot at Blair Park will be permitted during construction but motorists may experience temporary closures and restrictions during working hours. The public is encouraged to use alternate routes and access points to Blair Park if possible.
