City Hires New Director of Corporate Services

Port Alberni, BC – The City of Port Alberni is pleased to announce the appointment of Sara Darling as the new Director of Corporate Services. Sara brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role, having previously served as the Deputy Director of Corporate Services for the City.

Sara Darling expressed her excitement about her new role, stating, "I am honored to have been chosen as the Director of Corporate Services for the City of Port Alberni. I am committed to upholding the City's values of transparency and accountability and I look forward to contributing to the ongoing success of our community."

In her new position, Ms. Darling will work closely with the Chief Administrative Officer in all tasks related to the statutory duties and responsibilities of corporate administration and will be responsible for providing administrative and organizational support to Council, its Committees and to the Corporate Services department generally.
