Clutesi Haven Marina is located on the traditional territories of the Tseshaht and Hupačasath First Nations, whose stewardship has shaped and sustained this beautiful waterfront for generations. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Somass River and Alberni Inlet, the marina offers 130 individual berths and over 950 feet of side tie moorage, with access to water and electricity. Of the 130 slips, 28 are covered. The marina also features a four bay boat launch and public docks, providing welcoming and convenient access to the waterfront for both boaters and the broader community.
Clutesi Haven Marina is reserved exclusively for recreational vessels. Moorage for sailboats and commercial fishing vessels is not available.

Community Spaces
Clutesi Haven Marina is home to the Marina Marketplace, featuring five repurposed sea can units painted by renowned Tseshaht First Nation artist Gord Dick, and a selection of local food trucks and vendors. It includes a large, covered seating area with picnic tables, benches, garbage receptacles, and scenic views of the Somass River.
The Marina Marketplace is an initiative of the Community Economic Development Initiative (CEDI), a partnership between Tseshaht First Nation, Hupačasath First Nation, and the City of Port Alberni. The initiative’s goal is to support local businesses and provide opportunities for entrepreneurs to grow and thrive in a welcoming waterfront setting.

Clutesi Haven Marina also marks one end of the Quay to Quay Pathway, one of Port Alberni’s newest waterfront amenities. This four kilometre paved pathway connects Harbour Quay to Victoria Quay and allows residents and visitors to explore the waterfront by foot or other non motorized travel. The Marina Marketplace now provides a destination at one end of the pathway for pathway users to enjoy in addition to the journey.

Environmental Stewardship and Pollution Prevention
Clutesi Haven Marina is committed to protecting the health of the Somass River and the surrounding waterfront environment. The marina recognizes its responsibility to minimize environmental impacts and to promote safe, respectful, and sustainable use of the marina and adjacent public spaces. All marina users are asked to respect that Clutesi Haven Marina is located on the traditional territories of the Tseshaht and Hupacasath First Nations and to act responsibly in support of environmental stewardship. Through a shared commitment to sustainability, users help protect water quality, habitat, and the vibrant wildlife that depend on this waterfront today and for generations to come.
All marina users, businesses, and visitors are expected to operate their vessels and conduct activities in a manner that prevents pollution and protects the water, shoreline, and wildlife. This includes taking all reasonable measures to avoid the release of fuel, oil, sewage, garbage, or other contaminants into the marine environment. Fuelling of vessels is permitted only as the designated fuel dock and marina users are expected to report any spills immediately.
